MEET THE TEAM – INTRODUCING WILL RODWELL – TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER

It’s always good to get to know the team, and we do try to meet all NES customers face to face over time.

Our new Technical Sales Manager, Will Rodwell, is currently out and about meeting customers and getting to know you all, but by way of introduction here’s a little more about Will’s background and his objectives in his new role.

A great addition to the team!

“Hello, I’m Will Rodwell and I joined NES in the spring of 2017 as Technical Sales Manager.

Having been in manufacturing throughout my career, over the last 10 years this has focused primarily within the rubber industry across every major product sector. My initial experience, and where the passion for this mysterious substance all began, was during my time as an MRO application engineer where, on location at a factory or plant, you’d be rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in to solving the issue.

Many an occasion created a real sense of pride and satisfaction by providing and exceeding the technical solution – witnessed by an expression of relief from the maintenance engineer!

I then migrated into OEM account management and development, supporting areas within product development through to scoping out commercial initiatives for blue chip, global, multi-location manufacturing companies. Key is gaining a full understanding of the customer requirements, tailoring and aligning the capabilities to best suit these needs.

I’m dedicated to providing a top quality service to be proud of. I have behind me an enthusiastic and dedicated team of experts with many years combined industry experience, a wealth of knowledge and a problem-solving attitude – which ensure NES can be relied upon to deliver the very best service to our customers

Outside NES, I’m married with two children and born and bred in Suffolk. The majority of my leisure time is spent keeping the kids entertained! Time is scarce, but on rare occasions I do enjoy a round of golf and a pint of ‘real ale’ down the pub with friends.”
